Norton House is a listed building dating back to the 1500s, there are several different levels and the old floors are uneven. As the house is built on the side of a hill, the gradient is too steep to offer wheel chair access.

The front door is approached by a flight of shallow stone steps, without a hand rail. All bedrooms are on the first floor, accessed by stairs with a hand rail. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower over bath fitted with a hand rail.

There is no downstairs toilet. The stairs, corridors and landings are lit at all times, safety lights are fitted in all bedrooms.

We do have many regular guests with mobility issues, and they cope quite happily with help. Please let us know if you need assistance with access, or more information and we will be happy to help
